Orji Uzor Kalu Will Continue Receiving Full Salary While Serving His Jail Term Senate Reveals

Orji Uzor Kalu a Senator and Ex governor of Abia state has been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for N7.65bn fraud.

Nigerian Senate has revealed that Orji Uzor Kalu will still be getting is full salary as well as his allowances while serving his Terms in Jail. According to the senate spokesman, he said orji's matter is still in court and can still appeal to supreme court, speaking with premium times, Akwashiki said:

Although he won't be performing any Legislative function,he still remains a lawmaker of the country.
