POLICE OFFICER HAS NO RIGHT TO CHECK YOUR PHONE SAYS PRO OFFICER

Dolapo Badmos, Lagos State Police PRO has revealed  in a statement that a police officer has no right whatsoever to check your phone. This is for citizens that doesn't know his/her right.

In an interview with LIB PRO Dolapo was asked the difference between "Stop,Search and Checking people's phone" is it right or wrong.

She responded;
"Your phone is private, it's your private property because people do a lot of private stuffs on their mobile phones so it's wrong. Police officers have no right to do that expect there is a reasonable ground to do so.
