SUPREME COURT HEARS APC MOTION TO REVIEW OF JUDGEMENT SACKING LYON

Supreme court is currently hearing the application for review of the judgement which sacked governorship candidate of The All Progressive Congress (APC) David Lyon and his deputy, Senator Biobarakuma Degi-Eremienyo in Bayelsa State.

Afe Babalola who is representing David Lyon and his deputy said the apex court has the power to set aside it's earlier judgement.

He continued, he insisted that the application is not a review of judgement, but to set aside the judgment sacking the governorship candidate of the APC having overwhelming won the election.

Barely 24 hours before the inauguration of Mr Lyon and his deputy as Governor of Bayelsa State, their certificate was withdrawn from them and given to the other contestant of The People's Democratic Party(PDP).
