COVID-19— KANO STATE REOPENS TESTING CENTER

Kano State reopens The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC). The centre which was suspended on April 22 after running out of testing kits.

The reopening was confirmed by Chikwe Ihekwazu, NCDC Director General via Twitter this afternoon.

''Thanks to incredible efforts of a joint Team from @NCDCgov @KNSMOH  @aminukanoth & our partners, the #COVID19 lab at AKTH, Kano is back up & testing has resumed A 2nd lab at Bayero University Kano will be activated tomorrow Not where we want to be yet, but will #keep pushing"
