FG closes Kara bridge along Lagos-Ibadan expressway

The Federal Government has granted request that Kara bridge be closed from Friday to Sunday, following a tanker accident that claimed two lives on the bridge.

Director Highways Federal Ministry of works K. Y Ibrahim states that the contractor handling Kara bridge asked that the bridge be shut for three days in order to ascertain the bridge's serviceability state after the fire incident.
