Lagos state government to prosecute 229 hoodlums

 


The Lagos state government has reveal plans to prosecute 229 hoodlums in the state. 

Mr Moyosore Onigbanjo(SAN), Lagos state Attorney-General and Commissioner for justice made the announcement. 

According to Onigbanjo, the hoodlums used the advantage of EndSARS protest to carry out criminal offenses. 

Onigbanjo said:

"229 suspects were arrested by the Police for various criminal offenses ranging from arson, murder, stealing, malicious damage of property and assault before and after the Statewide curfew imposed by the Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu to restore law and order in Lagos”
