JUST IN— WhatsApp to stop working on millions of phones from January 1

Starting from January 1,2021, WhatsApp will stop working on millions of phones. 

Older Android and IPhone devices will no longer work on with the latest version of the app. 

Although WhatsApp has not yet announced that it will be withdrawing support for older devices which are currently compatible with the app.
