BREAKING—#OccupyLekkiTollgate Protesters freed with bail

 The #OccupyLekkiTollgate protesters have been granted bail in the sum of N100,000 each with sureties in like sum. 

Nigerian youths had planned a protest against the decision of the Lagos Judicial Panel which granted approval to the Lekki Concession Company (LCC)  to officially resume activities. 

Comedian Mr Macaroni was arrested at the Lekki Tollgate alongside 30 others, and arraigned before a mobile count in Yaba, Lagos. 

They were arraigned in charges of flouting the COVID-19 protocol on public gatherings, and "Breaking an order not to protest"
